ACE’s Future of Consultancy campaign aimed to pivot an entire sector to seize the opportunities offered by a better connected, technology-first approach to the development, design, construction and operation of our built environment. 

The work now forms a core part of ACE’s offering and will help all members confidently grasp the rewards presented as the industry moves “from volume to value” over the next decade.

Emerging from the campaign workstreams, the future skills group explores the roles that consultancies will need if they are to remain competitive, how they can attract the right mix of skills and capabilities, and why the sector needs to act as a single talent eco-system. It will kickstart discussions on educational and professional qualifications and how businesses can futureproof their workforce.

Chaired by Lara Potter of Arcadis, the group meets regularly and inputs into the discussions of the quarterly Future of Consultancy board meeting.
