We’re the association for the UK’s professional consultancies and engineering companies operating in the social and economic infrastructure sectors.
The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) champions infrastructure to government and other stakeholders, representing the views of around 430 members.
Our members employ over 60,000 in UK and 250,000 worldwide, contributing more than £15 billion to the UK economy.
They have worked on some of our most high-profile infrastructure to date: Crossrail, Thames Tideway, HS1 & 2, the Queensferry Crossing and Heathrow Terminals 2/3 and 5.

HOW WE WORK
Our Board is responsible for the strategic direction and corporate development of the organisation and meets four times in a year. Members are representative of our membership body and a different chair is elected each year. Our Advisory board provide ACE with key political and industry connections and meet twice a year.
ACE’s groups provide our members with local networking opportunities, help establish our opinion and policy and explore interests of critical importance to our members’ business interests, no matter their size.
Through our sister organisation, the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC), we are the voice of the green economy and we also support Sustainable Smart Cities which brings together smart technology and big data to encourage the development of cleaner, greener and more sustainable cities.
Based in our London offices, our passionate and enthusiastic team are dedicated to supporting our members and championing infrastructure.
The Board oversees our work and the strategic direction of ACE, while the Advisory Board provides our members with key political and industry connexions.
