HR FORUM

People are the key to any successful business and our industry has a range of sector-specific issues to address.

Our Human Resources forum (HR forum) exists to share best practice in this area and tackle the major HR issues affecting our industry. This includes addressing the sector’s skills gap, attracting and retaining millennial workers, the impact of Brexit on skills and recruitment, equality and diversity, training and safeguarding.

The forum offers an opportunity to partner with likeminded HR practitioners to share industry insight, knowledge and experience while providing the practical support to promote best practice. Offering a great opportunity to increase engagement between peers and members' own HR networks, attendees will be up-to-date with legislation and have the space to debate its relevance and the impact on their own business.

First established in 2007, much of the forum's output can be found on our Resource Hub.

The forum meets quarterly. Members include representatives of the following ACE member companies: Acies, Arcadis, BCal, BWB Consulting, Clancy Consulting, Cundall, Pick Everard, Hoare Lea, IMC, Max Fordham, Mott MacDonald, David NarroRoughton, Stantec, Troup Bywaters + Anders, Waterman and Robert West.

In addition the forum welcomes attendees from ACE's sister organisation, the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC).

The chair is Helen Salt of Curtins, with Richard Wood of Hoare Lea as vice chair and Adele Monk of IMC as lead for SME engagement.
