FRESH PERSPECTIVES RETURNS FOR SEASON TWO

ACE Emerging Professionals explore career pathways in a new series of its webcast

Fresh Perspectives, the popular ACE Emerging Professionals webcast is returning for a second season.

Bringing together two emerging experts to discuss the major issues facing the next generation working in the built environment, the second season will focus on career pathways in our sector, discussing key influences, organisational barriers, and sharing personal experiences.

New episodes of the webcast will be shared every Wednesday on the ACE Emerging Professionals Linked In page. Make sure you don’t miss out by following the page.

Over the next eight weeks the season will explore, among other topics, apprenticeships, different degrees, reverse mentoring, squiggly career paths, nurturing a growth mindset, and why age is no barrier to success.

Following feedback from viewers, we have restructured season two into eight different 10 minute interviews which can be seen in their entirety on Linked In. In addition, and as previously, the webcasts will also be shared on ACE’s YouTube channel.

Commenting on the second season of Fresh Perspectives – which was viewed more than 5,000 times in total – ACE Emerging Professionals chair, Wojciech Szewczak, said: “I’m excited to see the return of our extremely popular webcast series. Our short, ten minute videos are designed to be watched in your coffee or lunch break and are a great way to find out more about the different career options and pathways in our industry.”

“We hope that you will find these short interviews both informative and entertaining.”

Season two premieres on Wednesday 26 October 2022, with Wojciech Szewczak interviewing Charlotte Jones of AECOM.
