SCOTLAND COMMITTEE MEETING

The Scotland group’s quarterly meetings brings members together from across the country.

This group is chaired by Sarah Peterson from Horizon M&E Services Design Ltd.

In September the group will look at Housing and Infrastructure in Scotland providing an opportunity for our members to hear from industry peers such as Alastair Scott, Energy Futures PM at Scotia Gas Networks Ltd on their plans for gas network development.

Daniel Foulds from The Scottish Government will present on the current review of energy standards in Scotland and the recent release of the consultation to determine the principles for a Scottish equivalent to the Passivhaus standard.

Fiona Brown, Interim Director of Transport Strategy and Analysis and Nicola Blaney, Head of Strategic Transport Planning from Transport Scotland will join the networking session after the committee.

Attendance is a great way to keep abreast of technical changes, the local policy environment and the consulting and engineering landscape. .
