WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR £1.5BN DECARBONISATION FRAMEWORK

Fusion21 has announced the names of 40 suppliers for its decarbonisation framework, worth up to £1.5bn over four years.

Specialist firms - 42% being SMEs - have secured a place on the framework, designed to help deliver zero carbon goals, reduce emissions, maximise cost savings, achieve social value targets and support domestic and non-domestic retrofit measures.

The framework gives members across the public sector access to qualified Trustmark accredited and PAS2030:2023 compliant suppliers and can deliver projects in receipt of government funding including the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund Wave 3 and future stages (formerly SHDF), which facilitates everything from the installation of energy performance measures to developing the retrofit sector.

Additionally, the framework supports The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) which aims to help cut emissions by 75% from public buildings by 2037.

The framework is split into two lots - Lot 1: whole house decarbonisation and Lot 2: decarbonisation of public and educational buildings.

Peter Francis, director of operations at Fusion21, said: “Decarbonisation and achieving the government’s ambitious net zero target by 2050 is no easy task, so we are delighted to support our members via our robust and evolved Decarbonisation Framework.

“Our refreshed offer provides access to experienced suppliers and consultants, qualified to the latest industry accreditations and ready to help our members on their net zero journeys - delivering warm, safe, and comfortable housing and public buildings, whilst achieving social value they can see.

“Through its social value delivery, the framework will support the development of green skills training and the creation of employment opportunities.”
