STANTEC OPENS THIRD BRISTOL BASE

Consultancy and engineering firm Stantec has opened a new office in Bristol, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the South-west.

Located at the Embarq building on Redcliff Quay, the new 17,000 sq ft harbourside workspace will accommodate more than 200. The official opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Peaches Golding OBE, Lord Lieutenant of Bristol.

The move follows more than 20 years of Stantec's presence in the city, during which the firm has contributed to projects across the buildings, water, transport and energy sectors.

Natasha Jones, Stantec's UK director of landscape architecture and Bristol co-office lead, said the new office reflects the company's ambitions for growth and its commitment to creating a workplace that supports both employees and clients.

The office was developed with sustainability in mind, with Stantec choosing to refurbish an existing building and selecting a location with strong public transport links. Employee feedback also helped shape the design, which includes collaborative spaces, meeting areas, quiet working zones and facilities for events.

Stantec now operates from three locations across the Bristol area, including offices at Merchants Quay and Almondsbury.
