NET ZERO: SUPPORTING NORTHERN IRISH, SCOTTISH AND WELSH SMES

New versions of our SME guide to Net Zero published in advance of COP26

Following the publication of the joint ACE and EIC guide for SMEs on Net Zero earlier in the year, and ahead of COP26, we have produced three new versions for Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

The guides provide SMEs working in the built environment in those countries with practical advice and support to seize the business opportunities created by the UK’s effort to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Commenting on their launch, Matthew Farrow, director of policy at ACE, said: “Net Zero is likely to dominate the news agenda in the run up to COP26, but the reality is that it is sometimes difficult to know where to start to engage, especially for smaller businesses.”

“With this in mind, we’ve create three new versions for SMEs working in the built environment in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. These have been designed to link to local sources of advice and help SMEs seize the business opportunities provided by the move to Net Zero.”

Once logged in, members can download the three national versions of Net Zero: A guide for SMEs working in the built environment, as well as the original UK version. ACE members working in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will also be sent a copy of the report via email in the coming days.
