BUSINESS LEADERS APPOINTED TO INFRASTRUCTURE ASSOCIATION ADVISORY BOARD

Four new appointments from the worlds of business, development and politics

The Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE), the leading business association representing the interests of professional consultancies and engineering companies operating in the social and economic infrastructure sector, welcomes four major new appointments to its Advisory Board:

  • Katrina Haley, Managing Director, Head of Structured Bonds, Infrastructure & Real Estate at HSBC. Katrina is responsible for capital markets funding for transport infrastructure, energy, leveraged finance, oil and gas and physical assets such as aircraft and real estate. She has extensive experience across the UK, Europe, Middle-East and Sub-Saharan Africa and previously worked at Barclays.
  • John Holland-Kaye, Chief Executive of Heathrow. John joined the airport in 2009 as Commercial Director, before being promoted to Development Director and most recently Chief Executive Officer. He was responsible for the £1 billion investment in the airport which included delivering the new Terminal 2 in 2014. He has previously held senior positions at Taylor Wimpey, Taylor Woodrow, and Bass Brewers.
  • Liz Peace CBE, Chair of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation. Liz has more than 35 years’ experience in government and the property sector. She was Chief Executive of the British Property Federation and now holds a number of non-executive positions in the property industry as well as being Honorary President of the Property Litigation Association, Chair of the Centre for London think-tank and Chair of the Shadow Government Property Agency.
  • Geoffrey Spence, Global Head of Infrastructure, Resources & Energy at Lloyds Bank. The former CEO of Infrastructure UK at HM Treasury, Geoffrey oversaw the creation of the National Infrastructure Plan and the launch of UK Guarantee and PF2 schemes. He previously held roles at Deutsche Bank and HSBC and was a special adviser to the Chancellor on financial stability and business policy between 2008 and 2010. He is also a Commissioner on the Government’s Thames Estuary commission and a member of Mayor of London’s Brexit advisory panel.

ACE’s advisory board guides the board on strategic matters and provides the association with political and industry connections. The group consists of highly positioned individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and meets twice a year. The full ACE Advisory Board can be viewed on our website.
