Commenting on the announced delay to Crossrail's opening, Julian Francis, Director of Policy and External Affairs at ACE says:

"What this demonstrates is that the way we deliver large scale infrastructure projects in the UK is not working, failing to deliver on time or on budget.

"We need to review how we engage with the supply chain to ensure safe and timely delivery."
