Compliance and administrative services provider, TMF Group has appointed Cliff Pearce as the new global head of capital markets.
His role will focus on building the capital markets practice by attracting more multinational mandates and global clients.
Pearce joins TMF Group from Intertrust Group, where he was global head of capital markets services. He brings more than 20 years’ experience in the capital markets area gained at top tier banks including Greenwich NatWest, Bear Stearns and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, originating and delivering structured finance transactions to a wide range of clients.
A board director of multiple companies across a range of sectors including real estate, insurance, infrastructure and residential mortgages, Pearce also sat on the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) Securitisation Board and is a member of the Forbes Finance Council.
He will report to Daniel Max, head of global solutions, who said: “We are thrilled to welcome Cliff as the new head of our capital markets practice. His previous experience and guidance will be beneficial to boost TMF Group’s capital markets team towards new ambitious goals and results. At the same time, we are also grateful to Jonathan Ross, who will now be heading the capital markets global sales team, reporting to Jan Willem van Drimmelen.”
