SYSTRA APPOINT SÉBASTIEN DUPONT AS UK AND IRELAND MD

A key executive who has helped SYSTRA double the size of its transport and infrastructure business has been appointed as the company’s managing director for consultancy in the UK and Ireland.

Sébastien Dupont replaces Craig Scott in the role, with Scott also stepping down from the board but retaining an advisory role within the business.

Dupont joined SYSTRA in 2017 as chief financial officer for Latin America based in Såo Paulo, Brazil.

He moved to London in 2019 as international chief financial officer, responsible for the UK, Nordics, South America and North & Western Africa.

As an accomplished operations and financial leader with 20 years’ experience in the transport, engineering and automotive sectors, Dupont led the integration of TSP Projects, which was acquired in 2019, doubling the size of the SYSTRA Ltd’s transport and infrastructure business.

Nick Salt, CEO at SYSTRA Ltd, said he was delighted with Dupont’s appointment, adding: “He is an astute business leader with significant international experience and will form a significant part of our leadership team as we continue on our journey of sustainable growth.”

In his new role, Dupont is also tasked with raising the profile of SYSTRA Ltd’s many thought-leading technical and digital experts.

Dupont said moving to the UK had proved to be one of the highlights of his career so far.

“After working with a vast network of international entities across multiple continents, I am now delighted to shift my focus to the UK and Ireland market in order to support our clients to deliver on decarbonisation and sustainability,” he said.

“It is my absolute pleasure to lead SYSTRA’s consultancy team, which has a rich and diverse pedigree of delivering fascinating work, thanks to its deep expertise and relentless commitment to each of our customer’s successes.”
