#NAW2021: TAC'S NEW ONLINE HUB LAUNCHES

Move follows pivot to become one-stop skills resource for industry

To coincide with National Apprenticeship Week 2021, the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC) has shared its new online hub.

Hosted on ACE’s website, the new hub replaces the mini-site TAC previously used to showcase their offering, share updates and offer guidance, support and advice. It also links to regional meetings and TAC events. All advice and support has been updated to reflect the latest information available.

With sections dedicated to employers, TAC apprenticeship standards, as well as a lengthy set of FAQs, the hub has been designed to help any Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) or Environmental industries Commission (EIC) member that employs, or is thinking of employing, apprentices.

To further help individuals and potential apprentices, it also links to education providers, professional institutions and government sources of skills and apprenticeship advice.

Gareth Drought of Tony Gee and Partners and TAC chair, said: “We’re delighted to share our new online hub this National Apprenticeship Week. Following a thorough review of our previously available content, we have pulled together and updated our online hub with what we feel will be the most useful for employers.”

“I’d like to thank TAC’s Kimberly Murphy and the ACE communications team for their collaborative effort in delivering this much needed update to our online offering.”

In October 2020, TAC announced that it was pivoting to become a ‘one stop’ resource for the engineering consultancy industry on skills and apprenticeships.
