FORMALISING BUSINESS AGREEMENTS

ACE joins Ramboll and AECOM at major conference session exploring how agreements are reached

Rosemary Beales, Contracts Adviser at ACE, will explore how business agreements can be made and the pitfalls if formality and standard terms of agreement are overlooked or ignored, at Build2Perform which takes place at London’s Olympia on Tuesday 26 November.

She will be joined by two eminent industry experts in their own right, Les Copeland, UK commercial director at Ramboll, and Alistair Day, Chief Counsel - UK&I, AECOM.

The free event, organised by CIBSE, takes place over two days and features more than 80 hours of sessions from more than 160 speakers across multiple stages. They will be speaking to more than 2,000 attendees.

At the session on Wednesday afternoon, you will be able to:

  • Find out about the benefits of adopting a “standard terms” approach.
  • Learn about issues that those providing consultancy services may need to address in future as the industry evolves.
  • Gain insight into the updating of Schedules of Services to provide a structured approach to delivery of services and accommodation of BIM and digital technology to support this.

For more on this session, and the conference more widely, please visit the Build2Perform website.  ACE offers a range of legal agreements and contracts which can help bring certainty to your projects.
