BUILDING INCLUSIVITY: LGBTQ+
Bringing together the industry to create more inclusive workplaces, Building Inclusivity, is a new cross-industry ED&I campaign from ACE.
Our Building Inclusivity roundtables feature expert organisations, inspirational best-practice from ACE members, emerging professionals and individuals from the LGBTQ+, neurodivergent and Ethnic Minority communities to discuss the challenges and solutions to creating more inclusive workplaces for all.
On Wednesday 13 July at 12.00pm to 1.00pm, the first Building Inclusivity roundtable will explore LGBTQ+ with panellists from Building Equality, ACE and its Emerging Professionals group. Together they will discuss how companies can go “beyond pride month” and take the positive steps necessary to creating a truly inclusive and welcoming workplace culture.
Vicky Thorburn (Buro Happold) and Peter Weller (Mott MacDonald) from Building Equality will share how they’ve been campaigning for change and creating the practical tools to help businesses in our sector. In a relaxed, informal, and welcoming yet informative online setting, the panel will also share best-practice to help inspire others with the chair of ACE’s Emerging Professionals, Wojciech Szewczak (Ramboll) and Sharon Slinger (Constructing Rainbows).
Aimed at a broad range of the industry, our online roundtable is free, open to all, and a must-attend for senior leadership, people experts, team leaders and emerging professionals, as well as those from the LGBTQ+ community.
