Following ACE's popular webinar on the Construction Playbook, we follow-up with a one-off special ACE Insight event exploring Intellectual Property Rights and what you need to know to engage clients confidently as part of the procurement process.

As well as the recently launched Construction Playbook, it will touch on issues such as contracts and standard clauses.

Joining ACE’s Hannah Vickers will be a panel of experts who together will explore the challenges and opportunities in this space.

Sheila Devine, Growth and Skills Lead at the Department for Transport (DfT) will share an overview of her recent DfT guidance note. Margo Day, Global Director of Risk & Commercial Law at Buro Happold, and ACE chair Legal and Commercial, will reflect on the main challenges facing consultants on IPR. Alex Cunliffe, Head of Contracts at Laing O'Rourke, will share the perspective from the contracting community and the challenges they face. Finally, Ian Rogers, Head of Intellectual Property and Technology Law at Arup will run through a few worked examples of IPR.
