CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING LAW UPDATE
ACE INSIGHT WEBINAR

CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING LAW UPDATE

Part of ACE's new Insight webinar series, this free-to-attend event is hosted by ACE Northern Ireland with ACE affiliates Carson McDowell as they provide an overview on the recent updates on the construction and engineering law.

Over the last few months there have been a number of important decisions from the courts that are likely to have a significant impact on engineering projects, parties’ entitlements under engineering contracts and the process of resolving disputes that arise in relation to engineering work.

This has included a decision from the UK Supreme Court on adjudication and insolvency, a local NI decision on the enforcement of adjudication decisions and a number of other judgments on the proper operation of the payment provisions in construction and engineering contracts. For those involved in the engineering process, staying abreast of the latest developments in the law is an important factor in ensuring the success of a project.

This webinar will be delivered by two Partners, from leading local law firm Carson McDowell, who between them have nearly 40 years’ experience of advising on the law relating to all aspects of the construction and engineering process.
