FUTURE PROOFING CONSULTANCY AND ENGINEERING SKILLS

Last year ACE worked with over 650 businesses to launch the Future of Consultancy campaign which identified the key markets for consultancy and engineering businesses in the future – strategic planning & placemaking, project design and delivery, and asset operation.

To help businesses develop their capabilities in these markets, and to understand the impact digital transformation will have on our job roles and competencies, we are now focusing on a new piece of work to determine the future skills profile. This will be complemented by activity led by ACE Emerging Professionals exploring the future of the workplace. The two research pieces will come together in one report to be published later in the year. This will also inform the academic community and professionals bodies to support future business needs.

This workshop offers the chance to explore the big issues with your peers in terms of developing and future-proofing current skill sets within the workplace while establishing and recruiting the skills set of the future.
