Find out more about the work of the Places advocacy group.
As we emerge from the pandemic, how will we create the communities of tomorrow?
With local development, levelling up, and placemaking rising up the political agenda at national, regional and city levels, the group is key to exploring new ideas around regeneration, planning and the built environment.
The advocacy group explores how we can truly build back better and create the urban centres that people will want to live, work and play in over the medium to long-term.
The group will also explore the left-behind communities across the UK, and how our sector can play a key role in realising their potential and unlocking regional growth.
The advocacy group champions place and regeneration, shaping ACE’s interactions with policymakers, supporting evidence-based thought-leadership and ensuring our industry is at the forefront of political discussions around levelling-up.
To ensure group conversations remain relevant, informative and most importantly meetings remain effective, membership is by invitation only. ACE member companies with an established track record and wishing to become more involved in the work of the group, can contact us to express their interest.
