“The Consultancy and Engineering Awards 2026 continue that proud tradition by recognising the people, organisations and partnerships delivering excellence across our sector, an industry that underpins the UK’s world-class reputation for engineering design. Built on a rich industrial heritage and strengthened by innovative research and globally recognised expertise, our industry continues to deliver innovative solutions that improve lives, support economic growth and shape a more sustainable future.

“Congratulations to all our shortlisted companies and individuals. We look forward to celebrating your successes and announcing the winners at what promises to be a truly special and inspiring evening.”

Now in their fourth decade, the awards have become one of the sector's leading benchmarks for excellence, recognising outstanding achievements across consultancy, engineering and the wider built environment.

Notes to editors:

The 2026 Consultancy and Engineering Awards introduce the Nina Cameron Graham Award, named after the first woman in Britain to earn an engineering degree. It will recognise the achievements of women in engineering consultancy and support efforts to improve female representation across the profession.

Also, new for 2026 is the Kingdom Brunel Award which will honour the most outstanding nomination of the year, selected by ACE's judging panel for demonstrating exceptional excellence, innovation and leadership.

A Lifetime Impact Award will also be made on the night, celebrating individuals whose leadership, career, and influence have significantly shaped the UK's engineering consultancy and built environment sector.

Entries were received from both ACE members and non-members, highlighting the breadth of talent across the UK and the vital contribution consultancy and engineering businesses make to creating a better built environment.
