Yorkshire Water has launched preliminary market engagement for an infrastructure works programme during the AMP9 and AMP10 investment periods.
The programme could see and investment of around £3.3bn over the two five-year regulatory periods, with an estimated annual spend of £330m.
Yorkshire Water says it is reviewing its existing infrastructure works programme that covers water and wastewater infrastructure activities across its network.
As part of this review, it is undertaking early market engagement to understand issues including suppliers’ capability, capacity and areas of expertise as well identifying opportunities for efficiencies, innovation and collaboration.
Yorkshire Water says works included in the investment programme may range from “complex strategic infrastructure projects to customer-focused distribution and network activities”.
It has partnered with Efficio to conduct the survey and support ongoing market engagement. The preliminary market engagement is non-binding and will not form part of any future supplier selection or tender evaluation process. Responses will not create any commitment to procure.
Suppliers have until 12 August to complete the survey.
