WSP REAPPOINTED TO SUPPORT WEST SUSSEX ON HIGHWAYS, TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE

WSP has been re-appointed by West Sussex County Council to continue providing highways, transport and planning consultancy services across the county.

The extension continues a long-standing partnership between WSP and the local authority, supporting the delivery of highways, transport and infrastructure services across West Sussex including scheme development, technical advice, programme delivery, asset management and wider consultancy services.

Since the start of the current contract, WSP has supported 442 projects across West Sussex up to May 2026, generating nearly £3m in social value through the National TOMs (themes, outcomes and measures) framework. Major schemes include the Lyminster Bypass, A29 realignment and A259 Bognor Regis to Littlehampton corridor improvements.

Alongside technical delivery, WSP has contributed to STEM engagement, volunteering, mentoring, local employment and supply chain spend locally.

Rachel Skinner, managing director for transport and mobility at WSP UK & Ireland, said: “We’re proud to continue our long-standing partnership with West Sussex County Council, supporting the delivery of highways, transport and planning services across the county. By combining trusted technical advice with local knowledge and practical delivery support, we can continue to help connect communities, support economic growth and enable more sustainable travel for people across West Sussex.”
