WSP has appointed Darren Reed as executive managing director for its Transport and Infrastructure business in the UK and Ireland.

Reed, who is also managing director for WSP’s Project Management and Commercial Management (PMCM) and Rail business units, brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the role. 

His appointment comes as WSP delivers on its 2025–2027 Strategic Activation Plan, with transport and infrastructure services playing a central role in the consultancy’s continued growth and client delivery.

The appointment follows the departure of Charlie Hodgson, who has left the business to pursue a new opportunity.
