Procure Partnerships Framework has appointed 53 contractors to its £1.2bn North West Contractor Framework, supporting public sector construction and infrastructure projects across the region over the next four years.
The framework, managed on behalf of Wirral Council and procured under the Procurement Act 2023, is the third iteration of the Procure Partnerships North West Contractor Framework.
This iteration will run from 1st April 2026, alongside its existing National Contractor Framework and Professional Services Framework.
The framework can procure projects from £50k, to more than £100m, with specialist contractors appointed across key disciplines including construction and infrastructure.
The disciplines consist of 13 lots in total, with six covering general construction projects, six for infrastructure schemes, and one dedicated lot for demolition projects of up to £2.5m in Merseyside.
The successful contractors include national construction firms Kier, Wates, Morgan Sindall, and GRAHAM, alongside regional specialists such as Krol Corlett Construction, Momentum Group, and City Build.
In its infrastructure lot, returning suppliers BAM, A E Yates, and Galliford Try have been joined by new appointments including Costain (Highways), M Group, and The Casey Group. The dedicated demolition lot has been secured by J Freeley.
Across the framework, 64% of contractors are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ensuring that regional firms play a key role alongside multi-nationals.
Faye Dolan, framework director at Procure Partnerships Framework, said: “We are delighted to announce the successful contractors for our third iteration North West Contractor Framework. This iteration brings together a diverse contractor base, combining national and regional expertise, to ensure public sector clients across the North West have access to the right contractors for projects of any scale, and that local suppliers have a key part to play in delivering projects in the North West.
