GO-AHEAD FOR NORTH YORKSHIRE LOGISTICS HUB

A major logistics hub in North Yorkshire has gain final planning approval.

Greenbox JV continues its rapid nationwide expansion after securing reserved matters planning consent from North Yorkshire Council  (NYC) for GB181, a new 181,742 sq ft Grade-A logistics and industrial unit at Greenbox Thirsk.

The development follows the success of its speculative Greenbox Darlington development.

Greenbox is a joint venture between York-based property investment company  Citivale and global real estate investor Partners Group.

The 52-acre Greenbox Thirsk site already has full consent for 365,000 sq ft and a Section 106 Agreement for 272,504 sq ft is nearing completion with NYC - together forming a three-unit masterplan totalling 820,000 sq ft.

The site however remains deliverable also through its outline consent to provide Units for SMEs of circa 12,000 sq ft, through to a single footprint of around 820,000 sq ft making it one of the only sites in Yorkshire where this size of giga-shed can be delivered.

Positioned just four miles from the A1(M) and adjacent to the A19, Greenbox Thirsk is located for manufacturers and distributors seeking rapid north-south connectivity.
