FUSION21 ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF £175M FRAMEWORK

Procurement specialist Fusion21 has appointed 120 firms to its national Construction Consultancy Services Framework, worth up to £175m over four years.

Specialist firms - 85% being SMEs - have secured a place on the framework designed to support public sector members to source construction-related consultancy services for the built environment.

Providing regional and national coverage, the framework will support projects of any scale, including those of complexity and high value. It is available to housing providers, local authorities and education, blue light and NHS organisations and has been set up under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Offering a range of core disciplines from architecture and project management to quantity surveying, and building engineering services, the framework is suitable for various projects. It provides access to experienced, qualified, and competent consultants with credible delivery records and sector knowledge.

Peter Francis, group executive director (operations) at Fusion21, said: “Fusion21 members accessing our renewed Construction Consultancy Services Framework will work with a team of technical procurement experts whilst benefiting from procurement efficiencies, value for money, and a fast route to market.

“Designed to reflect the new regulatory environment, this framework has been shaped in response to member and supplier feedback and will help to address the competency expectations and challenges introduced by the Building Safety Act (BSA 2022), while meeting the highest standards of compliance and building safety.

“We are delighted that new lots ‘Retrofit’ and ‘BSA Principal Designer Duties and Building Control’ have been added to our refreshed offer, at a time when there is a greater demand for these services.

“As with all Fusion21 frameworks, this latest framework enables our members to deliver social value they can see in communities, aligned with their organisational priorities.”
