ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY HARLEY HADDOW EXPANDS INTO BIRMINGHAM

Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, Harley Haddow, has launched in Birmingham, marking the firm’s third new office in four years.

The new base, at Birmingham’s Runway East, is the company’s eighth location in the UK.  The 11-strong team will be led by director, Scott Lydon, supported by regional director, Jeremy Silvester.

Providing consultancy in mechanical, electrical and public health systems within buildings, Harley Haddow Midlands will also work with public and private-sector clients to advise on building performance and efficiency.

The new team includes engineers, a building information modelling (BIM) specialist, office manager and two apprentices.

Scott Lydon, director at Harley Haddow, said: “We know the regional market and its players very well and that, supported by the solid foundations of a 76-year-old business, is a recipe for success. Harley Haddow’s tactical move will ensure continuity across the built environment and provide a strong platform for growth.”

Established in 1950, Harley Haddow is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy advising clients on civil and structural, geotechnical, energy and sustainability, mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) and net zero.
