ACE is pleased to offer its SME members an exclusive opportunity to visit Laing O'Rourke's £100 million offsite facility at Explore Industrial Park in Worksop.

This is a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the off-site construction revolution and how large organisations like O'Rourke are adapting to the new technologies. The company is aiming to have 70% of all projects assembled offsite, increasing build times by nearly a third and reducing labour costs by 60%. Facilities like Explore are vital to achieving these goals.

The facility employs nearly 400 people in long-term manufacturing jobs, including skilled and semi-skilled operatives, maintenance, design and production engineering, supply chain, team and production leaders and a range of commercial and administrative roles.
