ACE is pleased to share its upcoming event programme, ACE Live 2023, with members.
We kickstart the year with the rearranged Consultancy and Engineering Awards on Thursday 19 January 2023. Your new host, The Times’ technology business editor Katie Prescott, will join us to celebrate the best people, projects and businesses in the built environment. Tickets are still available to purchase with discounts for anyone working for an ACE member.
Two new event series are aimed at helping members creating and seize new business opportunities. Our Meet the Buyer events kick-off in Q1 2023 and will bring members closer to key clients, while our Hackathon series launches in March and has for theme, overcoming the barriers to innovation. They will bring ACE members together with key clients and stakeholders to create solutions to long-standing industry challenges.
In addition, the programme will also feature the return of our popular ‘In Conversation With’ webinars, which bring members closer to key policymakers, building on this year’s events with National Highways, the Department for Levelling Up, Defra and the Cabinet Office.
As with this year, ACE is contributing to the national campaigns for Green Infrastructure Week (6-10 November), Net Zero Week (1-7 July) and, new for 2023, Decarbonising Transport Week (6-10 March). As well as an ACE-led webinar, each week will also feature a related online event from our news resource, Infrastructure Intelligence.
ACE members will also be interested in our in-person Social Value Conference which takes place on 23 September in the Midlands, as well as an ACE Parliamentary Reception which will take place in the same month.
A new series of online roundtables from the Building Inclusivity campaign on creating more welcoming workplaces to all is complemented with the launch of the ACE ED&I Charter at an in-person event in the Midlands on 17 May 2023.
We will also host two events for our emerging professionals, an in-person event in September, alongside the return of our end-of-year recognition event in Q4 which celebrates the voluntary contributions made by emerging professionals to its activity.
