THE ACE GOLF SOCIETY IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS!

Join your fellow ACE members on the fairway

The ACE Golf Society has been running for nearly 50 years and holds several golf days and matches each year. Moving around the UK, the society holds a mix of competitions and more social days, with highlights including the challenge for the Waterman Trophy and matches against RIBA and RICS teams – a “Ryder and Solheim Cup” of infrastructure!

The ACE Golfing Society held its 47th AGM at Frimley Hall Hotel on 6th June, during a 3 day Summer golfing fixture with rounds at Camberley Heath Golf Club, West Hill Golf Club and Chobham Golf Club. Glorious weather was matched by great courses in fantastic condition and some challenging scoring! Previous venues have included Saunton Sands, Muirfield and Port Rush.

The society runs nine fixtures per year with a mixture of one-day and two-day events at great courses throughout the country and matches against other societies in the South-East. Upcoming in the calendar are three matches in July and August against RIBA, the Law Society and RICS golf societies, where ACE will be looking to replicate the fantastic unbeaten form of last year – a first for the society.

The society is always looking for new members men and women so if you are interested in joining us for a some great golf on fantastic courses, and a chance to play against other industry societies, then please contact our secretary Tim Purrett.
