People and Skills Group

At the final People and Skills Group of 2026, we will explore how the skills landscape is changing and what that means for the sector. The session will consider the skills organisations may need in the future, whether a skills taxonomy would help and how it could be implemented in practice.

Speakers include Rhys Morgan, Senior Principal Consultant, Education and Skills at the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE). Rhys is involved in RAE’s Skills Centre, which includes a special Skills Observatory, providing insight, analysis and research on current and future engineering skills needs.
