For our next meeting of the ACE Legal and Commercial Group, we will be discussing the topic of Risk allocation under pressure: contracts, claims, and commercial reality in today’s infrastructure market. As large infrastructure projects are hit by delays and cost overruns due to the constantly expanding scope of client and stakeholder input, engineers are often put in a difficult place in trying to meet client demand between project scope and limited resources.

Our upcoming meeting will discuss how members can control for these risks at the contract negotiation stage, effectively controlling the scope of infrastructure projects and to protect themselves from shifting demands and added complexity. We will be joined by experts across the insurance and legal sectors, providing members with expert insight into the risks and commercial challenges affecting the industry as it seeks to deliver the infrastructure and growth the UK needs.
