ACE invite you to a special fringe event at this year's Labour Party Conference.

The 'Big Construction Debate' brings together industry leaders from six leading membership bodies across the construction sector, including representatives from consultancy and engineering, product manufacturing and supply, civil engineering contracting, plant hire, and SME housebuilding.

With the Labour Government continuing to pursue ambitious national missions, including delivering clean power by 2030 and building 1.5 million homes by the end of this Parliament, this year’s debate will focus on identifying the barriers holding the construction sector back from delivering at the pace and scale these targets demand.

To help make the discussion as practical and solutions focused as possible, we will be inviting each of the six trade associations to identify one key change, whether policy, regulatory reform, skills, planning, investment or procurement, that would most effectively accelerate delivery before the next general election.
