WHY IS INFRASTRUCTURE IGNORING TECH?
AN ACE EMERGING PROFESSIONALS WEBINAR

WHY IS INFRASTRUCTURE IGNORING TECH?

The UK’s infrastructure sector is full of new ideas to improve the way we design, construct and maintain our built and natural environment.

Technology such as drones, AI and Virtual or Augmented Reality have been touted for years as having the ability to revolutionise the industry. However, around 80% of data science and technology projects fail to become embedded into normal practice.

What is stopping the widespread adoption of these new ideas and technologies? What impact is this having on helping the industry to rise to the challenge of remaining relevant?

Teddy Chadd, ACE Emerging Professional is joined by Emily Scoones a Chartered Senior Structural Computational Design Engineer of Ramboll, Dr. Eime Tobari who has helped clients optimise infrastructure projects using data analytics, Yuvraj Domun a data scientist from Amey Consulting, and Gary Raccuja a principle data scientist at Highways England.

This webinar will take place from 12-1pm on Wednesday 20 January 2021.
