As Group Chief Executive of the SCAPE Group, Mark leads the strategic direction and growth of its subsidiary businesses, including SCAPE and SCAPE Scotland Frameworks, Arc Partnership, Lungfish Architects, and Construction Waste Portal.

The SCAPE Group is now one of the UK’s leading built environment organisations, delivering high-profile projects nationwide and exceptional value for clients. Its procurement frameworks manage over 1,800 live projects, with a combined buying power of £21bn.

Mark serves as a Trustee and Board Director of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), a Board Director at Build UK, and Co-Chair of the Construction Leadership Council. Through these roles, he is a strong advocate for change within the built environment, working closely with both local and central government.

His career began as a YTS apprentice, followed by two decades in local government spanning construction operations, strategic planning, and procurement. He later led the creation of an arm’s-length management organisation in the housing sector.
