Chris leads the sustainability strategy to support clients in their transition to a low-carbon future, taking an output-oriented approach to help deliver cost effective solutions to their sustainability and decarbonisation challenges. 

Prior to joining Avison Young, he was Head of Energy and Engineering for the global Tesco business. His accountabilities at Tesco included engineering design, energy, petroleum engineering, automation, engineering project delivery, building surveying and structural engineering, leading a team of 100 subject matter experts. Whilst at Tesco his remit also incorporated energy and decarbonisation for the 5,000 stores, distribution centres and offices the business operates across five countries.
