Auditing 2,000 miles of Scottish roads
Close collaboration between three companies to audit the Scottish trunk road network.
The advocacy group starts with a simple premise – increasing connectivity will unlock opportunity and growth across the UK.
Whether HS2, Northern Powerhouse Rail, Heathrow’s expansion, or freeports, these high-profile projects will not only unleash economic growth and recovery, but change how and where people chose to live and work.
Transport is fundamental to local and national ambitions on regional development and levelling-up, key to unleashing the potential of the Midlands Engine, Oxford-Cambridge Arc and Northern Powerhouse.
Meanwhile, new investments in public transport and new technology such as hydrogen trains and electric vehicles will help reduce transport’s carbon footprint as we move towards a Net Zero future.
The advocacy group champions mobility and transport, shaping ACE’s interactions with policymakers, supporting evidence-based thought-leadership and ensuing our industry is at the forefront of political discussions on the future of our transport networks.
The advocacy group is chaired by Graham Pointer of WSP.
