ACE, and sister organisation EIC, are delighted to introduce new members of staff.

Guto Davies has joined ACE as its new Head of Policy and will be working with Policy Director, Matthew Farrow.

Based in North Wales, Guto comes with a wealth of policymaking experience as a former political advisor at the Senedd and as an advisor on EU Exit at Natural Resources Wales.

He said, “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining ACE and EIC as the new Head of Policy at what is a challenging, but exciting, time for our members. I’m looking forward to playing my part helping to shape policy which supports a rapid recovery from the pandemic and levels up the UK while achieving society’s Net Zero ambitions. I can’t wait to get started and build on ACE and EIC’s already impactful voice with policymakers.”

Guto’s first project has been coordinating ACE’s engagement around the upcoming devolved, mayoral and local elections.

Robin Murphie starts next week at ACE and EIC as its new Finance Manager and will be working with Director of Membership and Business Engagement, Darrell Matthews. Robin comes to ACE after a senior career in the media sector, working for and a variety of commercial production companies, and lives the north east of London.

In related news, you may have missed the recent announcement that Claire Clifford has been promoted to Director of Culture, People and Skills and formerly joins ACE and EIC’s senior leadership team.
