TAC PROVIDERS MAKE GUARDIAN'S TOP 50

Newspapers' 2021 University Guide includes apprenticeship partners

Coventry University, Kingston University, Leeds Beckett University Liverpool John Moores, and UWE Bristol are among some of the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC) approved providers that have made the Guardian newspaper’s top 50 for civil engineering.

The annual ranking, which forms part of their University Guide for 2021, provides scores for student and teacher satisfaction, student/staff ratio, spend per student, entrance requirements, academic pathways and career opportunities.

The ranking also reveals how popular civil engineering is as a topic, with more than 60 institutions now offering degrees and courses in the subject.

TAC has helped develop eight apprenticeship standards at levels three and six, and works with 16 educational providers to deliver them. TAC works with ACE members to encourage the hiring of apprentices and supports them on their apprenticeship journey.
