Following the first masterclass in the Leadership in a Digital Age series on people, the Future Skills group have outlined the content of the second masterclass on 21 September 2021 on technology.
Featuring two experts sharing their knowledge and providing top tips on deciding what technologies should you be investing in and perspectives on how to work with your clients and partners to accelerate and embed innovation and technology in your organisation.
They will explore the barriers to innovation and adoption of technology, how organisations can design for improved innovation and how the risks associated with application of new technologies can be managed and mitigated, and the opportunities delivered.
Designed to focus on practical solutions and examples, rather than conceptual discussions, attendees will receive a range of tools to download and take back to their own businesses, including sources of standard documents and guidance to help plan the next steps for their teams on their digital journey. The session will touch on how digitisation be mentioned in your scope and contracts and explore product development processes and methodologies.
Joining Lara Potter chair of ACE’s Future Skills and director, workforce for the future at Arcadis and Andrew Henderson, country market director at Ramboll, are May Winfield, global director of commercial, legal and digital risks at the international engineering firm, Buro Happold, and Sarah Wilkes, global innovation & ecosystems officer at Arcadis.
Commenting on the event, ACE’s director of people, skills and culture, Claire Clifford said: “Attendees to our masterclasses have left with practical tools that they can take back to their own businesses. More than a webinar series, our masterclasses share real-life examples and approaches which will help all businesses large and small.”
The technology masterclass is followed by a session on clients on 20 October. Want to find our more? Missed the previous events? Get up-to-speed by replaying previous Leadership in a Digital Age events below.
