GREATER MANCHESTER’S CLEAN AIR PLAN

Exclusive seminar for ACE North West to engage with Transport for Greater Manchester

ACE North West have postponed this exclusive breakfast seminar on Greater Manchester’s Clean Air Plan with Megan Black, Head of Logistics & Environment at Transport for Greater Manchester. Please check back for a new date.

This event will provide members the opportunity to engage with Transport for Greater Manchester. Attendees will also receive an update on the plan for the combined authority and what it means for the construction sector. The event will also include a Q&A session.

Greater Manchester is working hard to tackle air pollution which is damaging the health of its citizens. Unless urgent action is taken, roads across Greater Manchester will continue to generate dangerously high levels of pollutants including harmful nitrogen dioxide which can contribute to a wide range of illnesses and health conditions.

The Government has instructed Greater Manchester and many other areas to develop Clean Air Plans to bring levels of NO2 to within legal limits as soon as possible. Greater Manchester is now working with local stakeholders to produce a single approach for the whole region.
