ACE’s affiliate Griffiths & Armour has produced a member-only guide exploring PI Insurance in 2022.
The exclusive document is available to anyone who works for an ACE member - simply login or register on our website with your work email to access it.
Written by Graeme Tinney, Professional Risks Director at Griffiths & Armour, the document explores the currently challenging PI Insurance market and offers strategies to support members in achieving better outcomes in the renewal of their individual PI insurance arrangements.
Graeme Tinney said: “Issues relating to PI and professional liability are impacting across the construction sector with many consultants struggling to source and renew PI insurance cover.
“In response to these challenges, ACE and Griffiths & Armour, continue to work with Government, regulators and other stakeholders across the insurance and construction sectors in a bid to secure a better environment for members and greater risk appetite amongst insurers.
“However, any changes will not come quickly enough to deal with the commercial reality of renewing your PI arrangements in 2022, so it is important for ACE members to be fully informed on what is happening in the market and how they can look to protect their position.”
Karis Thain, head of membership engagement at ACE said: “I know from my discussions with members how challenging and frustrating the current situation is. We’ve worked with Griffiths & Armour to produce this FAQ to support your renewals strategy and hopefully help with securing cover.”
