Projects to increase connectivity and capacity, including HS2 and RIS2, will introduce a step-change in our forms of transport. As well as a long and proud heritage, the UK also has a dynamic network of routes and connectivity.
Our Integrated Transport group explores issues relating to the funding, design and delivery of our transport systems. Where possible we engage stakeholders in both the rail and road sector – everyone from Network Rail, the ORR, Transport for London, Highways England and the Department for Transport.
The group informs ACE’s thought-leadership in this area producing innovative yet tangible proposals to meet the needs of the UK’s transport sector, regularly responds to government consultations, holds events and writes articles for the trade press.
The group meets quarterly. Members include representatives of the following ACE member companies: AECOM, Amey, Arcadis, Arup, Capita Real Estate and Infrastructure, Costain, Geo-Environmental Services, Gleeds Corporate Services, Gramm Barrier Systems, Mott MacDonald, Ramboll UK, RPS Group, SYSTRA, Waterman Group and WSP.
The Chair is Andy Bell of Ramboll UK
