The need for revolutionary infrastructure projects in the UK has been set out by the National Infrastructure Assessment. The ambitions are bold, and we now have the opportunity with a longer-term strategic planning horizon to plan, design and deliver infrastructure in a way not seen since the last industrial revolution. But how prepared are we to embark on this journey?
Through this series of thought leadership dinners, we will be exploring the strategic, economic, financial, commercial and delivery components of a fundamentally different approach, using Hyperloop as our case study.
Industry, Academia and Government leaders will debate each topic in turn, testing the current systems, approaches and capabilities with the results being reported in a special Infrastructure Intelligence supplement as a window into the challenges we face in making the future infrastructure our country needs into a reality. The roundtables are kindly sponsored by Costain.
