AIRPORTS & PORTS GROUP
QUARTERLY MEETING
AIRPORTS & PORTS GROUP MEETING
While there are a number of obvious differences between the two sectors, there are connecting issues that affect both ports and airports including connectivity, air quality and returns on major project investment.
ACE wants to establish a new group to jointly consider and respond to these issues, helping to reduce the "silo effect" of working in these streams whilst enabling thought-leadership and helping to advocate for change in the government's approach to these issues.
In addition to ACE membership, representatives from UK Major Ports (UKMP), the Airport Operators Association (AOA) and Associated British Ports (ABP) have agreed to join the group’s membership. The group also accesses to key companies in aviation and maritime industries.
The group informs ACE’s thought-leadership in this area producing innovative yet tangible proposals to meet the needs of the UK’s airports and ports sectors, regularly responds to government consultations, holds events and writes articles for the trade press.
The group meets every quarterly.
