In order to help the consultancy and engineering sector adapt to a new era of design and delivery in the built environment, it is important that we understand the future trends and where the markets are heading.
This workstream will look at the UK opportunities for consultants to modernise their existing service offerings to support clients as well identify and introduce new services. We will be working with clients across all sectors in infrastructure and construction.
We will also be looking at the how our industry is being affected by the digital revolution that we are facing, what the opportunity and disrupters are for consulting engineers and how member firms can develop their business models to thrive in this new environment.
In delivering this workstream we aim to build a plan through the industry contribution realise the ambitions of the Construction Sector Deal’s Transforming Construction programme.
Over the coming months ACE will lead on a number of activities to bring together members, industry stakeholders and clients from the private and public sectors to examine this area and work in collaboration to achieve the common goal.
These activities include public affairs/relations activity, briefings and reports, seminars and conferences, breakfast roundtable debates, and sector interest group meetings, and events at which emerging professionals can discuss and identify what their future in consultancy looks like.
