Planning consent has been granted for a 399-student room development in Vauxhall, London.
The £46 million Spring Mews scheme will also feature a 120-bed hotel, a new community centre and cafe, ancillary office and retail space and a pedestrian mews.
Bam, Shepherd, Vinci, Sir Robert McAlpine, Ocon and Watkins Jones are all believed to be in the running for the build, on which work is expected to start later this year.
Commenting on the progress made, executive chairman of CLS Sten Mortstedt said: "Gaining planning consent at Spring Mews is an important achievement for our plans in Vauxhall, an area of London which we expect will see significant regeneration and growth in the next few years."
CLS Holdings, which is behind Spring Mews, has also announced that its Vauxhall Square development will be progressed with the local council throughout the rest of the year, while vacant possession of the site can be gained from the end of 2014.
