New joint venture to support Liverpool regeneration

Property firm Sigma Inpartnership has formed a joint venture company with Liverpool property development company Neptune Developments to expedite the delivery of its regeneration projects in the city.

This work is procured as a result of Sigma's partnership with Liverpool City Council and Regeneration Liverpool, and Neptune Inpartnership's first task will be to deliver a £120 million mixed-use development at Stonebridge Cross, once planning permission has been granted.

This development is anticipated to include a new secondary school, a 70,000 sq ft supermarket and 450 to 500 new homes, as well as a new public park.

Other projects include the £140 million regeneration of the Lime Street and Knowledge Quarter areas and the £120 million Norris Green Village scheme to build 800 homes.

Commenting on the joint venture, Steve Parry, managing director of Neptune Developments, said: "It is a fantastic opportunity to combine expertise and delivery credentials for the benefit of the city."
