  Nakheel chairman to speak to the consultancy and engineering industry

The chairman of Nakheel is to address industry at ACE’s flagship Middle East conference this month.

Mr Ali Rashid Ahmed Lootah is to deliver a keynote speech in Abu Dhabi on investment plans for Dubai. He will be speaking at the ACE’s fourth annual Gulf Co-operation Countries (GCC) Conference.

Nelson Ogunshakin, ACE chief executive, said: “Ali Lootah has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Middle East. His company is a major client to ACE member firms and the industry in general.  Following on from the difficulties in Dubai last year, I am delighted that he has agreed to speak to the industry about the market place in the GCC and the future prospects for growth.” 

Ali Lootah currently holds the position of vice chairman of Mashreq Bank.  He has 27 years of experience in federal government in the UAE, most recently as assistant deputy minister of public works.

Mr Ali Lootah is a member of the Board of Emirates Banks Association, a member of the Board of Osool and also a member of the UAE Civil Engineers Society.
