Conferences and exhibitions
As part of its remit to assist member firms working internationally, ACE organises conferences and takes part in other events of interest to consultancy and engineering firms. Some recent events are listed below with links to presentations and other useful information.
ACE GCC Conference
Following on from the successful conferences focused on working in the Middle East over the past three years,ACE has established a proactive presence in the region with the annual ACE GCC conference.
The ACE GCC conferences have been held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to give support to UK Consultancy and engineering companies in the region, to give guidance on contract risk management, best procurement process, entry strategies and to endorse relevant training for professional engineering staff. ACE GCC conferences have drawn senior management delegates and eminent speakers from the legal, insurance, client and health and safety sector.
The conference will tackle these issues, from the longstanding to the inherently topical. Intended for directors, associates, designers, engineers, contract managers, project managers and legal personnel, the conference aims to equip all delegates with the knowledge to overcome the current challenges as well as provide essential guidance on opportunities and entry strategies to the booming but challenging GCC region and beyond with a focus on Libya, Iraq and Egypt.

MIPIM
ACE exhibited at MIPIM 2009 in Cannes on the London Stand at the Palais des Festivals from 10-13 March 2009. MIPIM is a market for International property trade that takes place annually in Cannes and attracts participants from over 67 countries. The four-day event attracts key decision makers from the international property scene and provides opportunities to network, establish and maintain relationships and to discover what is happening in the industry.
